Some might say we hibernate ourselves during the colder months – cosying up with a beer on your sofa whilst it’s chilly and pouring it down outside. We feel you – we’re IN.
Our Hells in Hibernation Lager celebrates just that – a wintery take on our classic Hells Lager. Hazy, unfiltered and brewed with Apollo and Chinook hops that give it it’s piney freshness, and citrus bitterness – a cosy woodland hibernation in beer form.
But, it just so turns out that those animals we’re taking the hibernation inspiration from are finding it harder and harder to hibernate each winter. That’s why we’ve teamed up with the British Hegdehog Preservation Society to raise awareness of how we can help hedgehogs hibernate amongst the changes in their environment, affected by temperature and urban disturbance to their habitats.
So, we’re donating a portion of proceeds from cans of Hibernation Hells Lager sold to the charity, as well as launching this little boozer…
THE HIBERNATION ARMS.
This might look like your local, but this hog-sized-hut provides a safe place for the wildlife in your garden to hibernate in winter, and birth baby hogs in the summer - and you can get one for your garden too!
Order your own version of The Hibernation Arms from our web shop with a 4 pack of our Hells in Hibernation Lager cans too - 100% of proceeds from every sale will be donated to support the British Hedgehog Preservation Society and the great work they do.
Our Hibernation Arms huts are now sold out
Thanks to everyone who bought one - the proceeds will be going towards helping the BHPS support little hedgehogs in need. Your huts are made to order, and will be dispatched over the next 4 weeks.
Please note - these hedgehogs were photographed at a rescue centre, and cared for by a trained specialist, which is why they were awake in daylight.
