Look a Like Audiences

We use different technologies to create look a like audiences on social media. We may share hashed portions of your personal data (mainly your name and other online identifiers, email address) with our marketing partners and publishers to provide you advertisement in accordance to your   interests and/or those of like minded consumers. For example, we may aggregate your email address together with the email addresses of others who registered to our marketing activities, locally hash such data, and transmit the resulting hashed data to Facebook or to other marketing partners for the purpose of creating "Lookalike Audiences" (where targeted ads are sent to people on Facebook who have similar characteristics to people on our customer list), we request your consent in order to create look-a-like audiences via email or the cookie banner.

Digital targeting

If you agree to receive ads tailored to your interests, AB InBev will share a hashed version of your e-mail address with trusted third parties such as Facebook, LiveRamp, TradeDesk, and others. These Partners will include you in a personalized audience, which is a collection of individuals who share similar interests, and will present you and like-minded customers with content tailored to your interests. Our trusted partners may supplement information about our consumer audiences in general with additional data they may hold about you; however, this data will not be connected to you directly in any way and AB InBev will have no access to individual data insights. The idea is to personalize the advertisements that are delivered to you via various web channels (e.g., social media platforms).

Please keep in mind that this may imply the transfer of your personal data to a third party who will process it outside of the UK/European Union (i.e. the USA). This implies that your data may not be protected to the same extent as it is in the UK/European Union, and that it may be accessed by authorities in these countries without recourse. The appropriate safeguards are in place to secure your data.
