How do I set up the Stout dispense tube?

We’ve evolved our dispense-tube technology to create the ideal stout pour, delivering a rich, creamy head, the smooth mouthfeel associated with nitro stout, and that signature surge in the glass.

Each Camden Stout keg comes with specific spare Stout dispense tubes. These tubes, including the one already fitted to the keg, can be identified by the yellow ring on the connector.

Setting up the Stout dispense tubes is just as easy as setting up a regular one:
• Remove the current dispense tube.
• Attach the dispense tube to the tap unit, making sure it has a yellow ring.
• Attach the tap unit to the keg.
• Load the keg into the machine.

For the best possible pour, we recommend changing the Stout dispense tube after each pouring session. You can pour several pints over the course of an evening without changing it, but if you leave the keg for a couple of days, we recommend fitting a fresh tube before pouring again. The spare Stout dispense tubes are there for a reason - assuming the keg lasts that long!

When pouring a Camden Stout beer, why is my PerfectDraft machine pouring much slower than normal?

This is completely normal and nothing to worry about. When pouring a Stout, the beer flows more slowly due to thespecific dispense-tube technology used to create the signature surge and deliver a smooth, creamy head.

Can I use the Stout dispense tube with a keg other than Camden Stout?​

No. The Stout dispense tube is specifically designed for Camden Stout and must not beused with any other keg. Use the standard tube (with a black crown) for otherkeg styles.

What is the difference between Stout and regular dispense tubes?​

Stout dispense tubes contain a built-in restrictor that creates the correct flow for a creamy head,cascade and smooth pour.Use a new dedicated dispense tube for each pouring session.

How do I distinguish between a regular and a stout dispense-tube?​

Stout dispense tubes can be identified by theyellow ring on the connector, while regular tubes have ablack ring.

I can’t access the Stout feature in the app.

1. Your PerfectDraft app is version 3.6.7 or later. ​
- Check this under Account > About. ​
2. Your shop location is set to the United Kingdom.​
  - Check this under Account > Personal information > Change shop location.

How do I update my PerfectDraft Pro machine firmware?​

Once your machine is paired, the firmware update will be downloaded and installed automatically. The machine will check for the update approximately one hour after pairing. 

No manual action is required.

I can access the Stout feature, but I can’t enable Stout mode.

Your PerfectDraft Pro must be connected and running firmware version 3.17.0-2 or later. Check the firmware version under Account > My Machine.​

Order by 12pm Monday to Thursday for next day delivery. 

Orders placed after 12pm Friday will be delivered Monday, and Saturday and Sunday orders will arrive Tuesday.

This excludes bank holidays, and other busy times such as Black Friday – but we’ll make sure to give you a heads up.

You're spoilt for choice! You can change the delivery date, arrange to leave your parcel somewhere safe at the delivery address, deliver it to your neighbour, drop it off at your local shop, or come to the depot to pick it up.

You might receive an order called ‘split delivery’ This means items have come from different areas our warehouse, so the boxes can get separated upon sorting and loading at the courier depots, but don't worry if the first part of your order says'Box 1 of X',the other box(es) will be with you shortly.

Our chosen courier partner is DPD, who deliver our products on an overnight fragile service and take great care of our beery goods! They provide a live tracking service and safe place delivery when you're not in. In extremely busy periods we will also use Yodel and your package will be delivered on their 24 hour service.
