Say hello to our latest collaboration beer - Camden Versus Wicked Weed

We love learning from breweries that make great IPAs, then applying their wisdom to lager, the beer we know best. Wicked Weed are IPA experts, with eleven in their arsenal at our last count, so when they came to make a beer with us, we knew just what we wanted to brew. A fusion of their legendary Freak of Nature IPA with our IHL to create a double strength lager, crammed with American hops and Lupulin powder for juicy, fruity, freaky intensity.

This beer contains two ingredients which are perfect for geeking out on: Experimental hop BRU01, bred for high Myrcene oil to give pineapple and stone fruit aroma, and Ekuanot Cryo Hops (aka Lupulin Powder), a concentrate of oils and acids from whole leaf hops . It’s juicy, dry and fruity. Oh, and it’s 8.5% ABV.

Versus? What’s that?
We brewed the first of our Versus collaboration series in 2013, did eight in three years, but haven’t stepped into the ring with anyone since 2016. Versus Wicked Weed marks our return, and boy, are we glad to be back.
